English born Ghanaian international Eddie Nketiah scored his second goal of the 2023/24 campaign for Arsenal in a 2-2 draw against Fulham on match day three of the Premier League.
The young striker scored to put Arsenal 2-1 up against Fulham and the visitors crawled back to secure a 2-2 draw.
Andreas Pereira, a former midfielder for Manchester United FC, scored the game’s first goal to give the visitors a 1-0 lead after just one minute.
Gabriel Martinelli was fouled inside the goal area with 20 minutes remaining in the match, and Bukayo Saka converted the resulting penalty kick to tie the game at 1-1.
Nketiah added a beautiful goal to make it 2-1 for the Red and Whites team two minutes later, but Joao Palhinha tied the score in the 87th minute to make it 2-2.
Nketiah’s effectiveness off the bench begs the question and in the previous league game has left many asking if he should be the playing ahead of Arsenal’s first choice striker Gabriel Jesus.
Eddie Nketiah has scored two goals in three games this season.
Thomas Partey played 57 minutes of the action before being substituted for Zichenko.
