Three cars have been involved in an accident on the Effiakuma number nine(9) highway in the Effia Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly (EKMA).
The accident involved two Toyota corolla cars and an Urvan trotro bus.

According to an eye witnesses, the Toyota Corolla in an attempt to overtake another Corolla caused chaos on the road hitting a pedestrian before crashing into a sign post.
The driver and the pedestrian have been rushed to the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital in critical conditions.

A police woman on duty who attempted to swerve the on rushing car jumped but lost high footing thereby suffering a serious injury to her left leg, she has also been sent to the effia Nkwanta Regional hospital for treatment.
So far no deaths have been recorded as at the time of filing this report.
