The Member of Parliament for Effia Constituency, Honorable Joseph Cudjoe has filed his nomination forms ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
The Deputy Energy Minister submitted his nomination forms at the District Office of the Electoral Commission on Friday morning.

He was accompanied to the District office of the Electoral Commission by some party executives.
The Electoral Commission in September, opened nominations for parliamentary and presidential candidates, adding that the filled out forms are to to be submitted between October 5 and October 9, 2020.

According to EC Chair, Jean Mensa, Presidential candidates wishing to contest the 2020 general election are required to pay a filing fee of ¢100,000 while parliamentary candidates will pay ¢10,000.

Hon. Joseph Cudjoe is seeking another term to represent the Effia constituency as their legislator after serving two terms.
