Andrew Egyapa Mercer has retained the Sekondi constituency parliamentary seat on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The renowned legal practitioner defeated the NDC candidate Charles Hagan and Eleanor Appiah of GUM to win the seat.[ads2]
Mercer pulled 17,259 votes from the 91 polling stations whiles Charles Hagan accumulated 10,310 votes.
