[ads1]The Parliamentary candidate for Bantama constituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Francis Asenso-Boakye has urged Ghanaians not to waste their time voting for former President John Dramani Mahama in the December polls..
According to Asenso-Boakye, Ghanaians will be making the biggest mistake ever if John Mahama is voted President in tye upcoming general elections.
Speaking at a rally held in the Constituency, the Deputy Chief of Staff believes John Mahama has nothing better to offer Ghanaians and must be snubbed for President Akufo-Addo in the general elections.
“In our tradition, have you ever seen a chief enstooled for the second time after being rejected sometime back”, Asenso-Boakye questioned.[ads2]
Asenso-Boakye however pleaded with the constituents to vote massively for the ruling New Patriotic Party in the December polls for more development in the Constituency.
“President Akufo-Addo has done extraordinary well since assuming the presidential seat in 2017… Bantama has also not been left out with the developmental projects that the President is doing nationwide and I want us all to vote massively for President Akufo-Addo”, he added.[ads3]
On his part, President Akufo-Addo who was at the rally urged the constituents to vote massively for Asenso-Boakye to become the member of Parliament for the area.
The rally had in attendance some bigwigs of the NPP including the Ashanti Regional Chairman Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi.
