The Ghana Police Service has announced that sixty-one cases have been recorded so far in the 2020 December polls.
The cases followed by the National Election Security Taskforce have been recorded since begining of the elections on December 7 to December 9, 2020.[ads2]
According to the Police, twenty-one out of the sixty-one cases were electoral violence with six involved a gunshot.
The statement further states that, five death cases have been recorded since the beginning of the general elections.[ads3]
Meanwhile, the Electoral Commission is yet to declare the winner of the presidential elections with certified results from about fourteen regions announced..
