The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced the results of the 2020 parliamentary elections.
The ruling New Patriotic Party still remains as the majority despite losing about 30 seats to the NDC in the just ended elections.[ads2]
Per the results announced by the Electoral Commission, only Sene West constituency is remaining with the Fomena constituency seat now occupied by an Independent candidate.[ads3]
The 8th parliament will have 137 parliamentarians from the NPP as against the NDC’s 136. Previously, the NPP was having 169 against NDC’s 106.
The NPP won the Presidential elections with their flagbearer Akufo-Addo retaining the seat for the next four years.
