Mayor of Sekondi-Takoradi, Anthony K. K. Sam was confirmed dead on Friday, June 12, 2020.
The unfortunate demise of the Mayor has necessitated various message of condolences poured in by some agencies in the twin-cities latest among them is that Sekondi Eleven Wise Football Club.

Anthony Kobina Kurentsir Sam assumed his post after a swearing in ceremony on March 24, 2017 and his untimely death ended the tenure on June 12, 2020.
