Aston Villa wing-back Ahmed Elmohamady has urged Egypt teammate Mohamed Salah to stick with Liverpool.
Salah, after already scoring 30 goals this season, is being linked with a summer move to Real Madrid.
But Elmohamady, in contrast to many Egyptian football identities, believes the Reds attacker should stay where he is.
“His time in Chelsea helped him a lot. He is a source of happiness and joy for us, I think he should stay in Liverpool,” he insisted.
“He is the club’s superstar, but if he wants to leave, he should leave after at least another season in Liverpool.”
