Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has returned to action after almost six months of injury layoff.

The 29-year played the last ten minutes in Hellas Verona 2:0 victory over Spal in the Italian Serie A on Sunday.
Agyemang-Badu has been out of action since August last year after being diagnosed with pulmonary microembolism- blood clots in his lungs.
He made a return to pitch when he replaced Mattia Zaccagni in the 80th minute of the Hellas Verona 0:2 win against Spal.

He joined Hellas Verona on loan with option to buy from Udinese Calcio in July last year.
