Former Asante Kotoko striker Emmanuel Clottey has been named the new captain for Great Olympics.

The experienced goal poacher has been named the skipper for the Teshie based side ahead of the upcoming league season.
Clottey re-joined the ‘Oly Dade’ lads as a free agent few weeks ago after leaving Cafetaleros de Biscucuy.
He is expected to use his vast experience in the game to help Great Olympics in the 2019/20 league season which is expected to be start on December 28.

Emmanuel Clottey started his professional career at Great Olympics and played for the team for five solid years before joining Sekondi Eleven Wise on a permanent deal in April, 2009.

During his stay at Great Olympics, the former Tema Youth forward won the Ghana Premier League topscorer award in 2007.
Aside Great Olympics, Sekondi Eleven Wise and Tema Youth, Clottey has also played for Berekum Chelsea, Esperance de Tunis, Al Dhofa in UAE and Asante Kotoko.
