Emmanuel Clottey’s case against Asante Kotoko has been dismissed on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 by Accra High Court Financial Division 2 and told to compensate the Ghana Premier League side with an amount of GHS 5,000.
The Accra Great Olympics forward wanted Asante Kotoko to bear the cost of the USD 180,000 fine which FIFA ordered him to pay Esperance in 2015.

Clottey was requesting for amounts he would have received as salaries and bonuses in his contract with Kotoko within the FIFA ban period.
Emmanuel Clottey joined Asante Kotoko somewhere 2015 but didn’t see off his contract due to the FIFA ban.
Esperance had a running contract with Emmanuel Clottey before being registered by Asante Kotoko.

Clottey played just 30 minutes for Kotoko and was found guilty.
It will be recalled that the Ghana Premier League giants recently reached a deal with Esperance to settle the debt which rose to US$ 240,000.
