Former Head of Administration and Operations for Asante Kotoko Sporting Club, Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi has joined a list of football enthusiasts in endorsing the candidiature of the CEO of Women’s Premier League side Berry Ladies FC Dr. Gifty Oware- Mensah for a slot at the Ghana Football Association Executive Committee.
In a Facebook post, the affable and experience football administrator wrote ;
I have never spoken with Gifty Oware-Aboagye , but I have followed her contributions to Women football development, and I strongly believe she deserves a place on the GFA EXCO. Madam, you have my unwavering support.

The 37- year old Politician who has served in football administration for a over a decade is determined to ensure that women footballers and administrators reap the necessary benefits from their toil as they help to raise high the flag of Ghana.

She is inspired about the passion to lead a charge to continue the works done by the incumbent,Hajia Habiba Atta , and the charge to finish the race she has started “,

She feels tackling women’s football development from the grassroots with primary focus on policy planning and education, as well as alternative vocations for footballers , is the remedy for the Women’s game in the country.
Mrs. Oware- Mensah, Who is the President of Ghana Women’s Premier League side Berry Ladies FC, recently led a consortium to purchase Kumasi Sports Academy Ladies FC.

The Ghana Football Association is expected to go to the polls in October this year to elect ExCo Members and that of it’s President .
