Former Black Princesses midfielder Ernestina Abambila clinched the most valuable player in her full debut for Assi IF on thursday.
Assi IF whipped Brommapojkarna 1:2 at away in the Swedish second tier league with the former Hasaacas Ladies attacking midfielder lasting the full throttle with a mind boggling display.
The 20-year old joined the Swedish second tier side a week ago and was immediately handed a 30 minutes debut in their last game against Umea where they pulled parity.
Abambila after a stellar professional career with Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies where she won 3 National Women’s League title has had stints with FC Minsk and Aris Thessaloniki in Belarus and Greece respectively.
She played in the 2017-18 UEFA Women’s Champions League where she registered her name as the first Ghanaian to score in the competition against Slovenia’s Ljubljana.
