Former Black Stars defender Samuel Osei Kuffour has taken over his boyhood club King Faisal after being reinstated back to the Ghana Premier League.

The 43-year old has taken over King Faisal after it bankroller Alhaj Grusah cried for investors to come to his aid.
According to report, the former Bayern Munich stalwart defender has taken over the Kumasi-based side, hoping to make it a better team in Ghana and Africa at large.

It has been reported that, Kuffour will begin justify your inclusion exercise on Monday, November 4, 2019 at the KTI School Park in Kumasi alongside GFA technical director Oti Akenteng.
Sammy Kuffour played for King Faisal from 1990-91 before moving to Torino in Italy at a very tender age.

He spent three years at Torino (1991-93) before earning an opportunity to play for Bayern Munich in Germany from 1993-2005.
At Bayern Munich, Kuffour won a total of 14 honours in about 250 official matches, and he became the youngest defender in 1994 to score in the UEFA Champions League during Bayern Munich 2:2 draw against Spartak Moscow.
He was part of Ghana squad that won the 1991 FIFA U-17 World Championship in Italy and was an integral member of Ghana’ squad that finished second to Brazil in the 1993 FIFA World Youth Championship in Australia.
