Kumasi Asante Kotoko are to engage Medeama Sporting Club in a friendly on Wednesday November 13,2018 at the Sekondi Sports Stadium.
The Porcupine Warriors are in the Western Region for a 10 day camping ahead of their 2018-19 CAF Confederation cup.
With this, the Kumasi based team would engage the Yellow and Mauves in a friendly to test the might of their current squad as they prepare for the big task.
Speaking to the kyfilla.com after their training session today 7th November, 2018, head coach for the Porcupine Warriors, C.K Akunnor revealed that his outfit will play Medeama SC and one Togolese team who have qualified for the CAF Champions league next seacom in a friendly to strengthen his side.
“Kotoko will play Medeama and one Togolese team who have also qualified for the Champions league because we wanted to engage Asec rather but it didn’t succeed as we were expecting.
” Medeama are also a good side and we play against them on Wednesday”, he told Kyfilla.com
Kotoko are the holders of the last season’s FA Cup and makes them a legitimate club to represent Ghana as league season in the country has been put on hold.
