Football Club Samartex 1996 could be sealing a deal with Shaibu Rafique Issah, the highly rated former Sekondi Hasaacas Football Club goalkeeper.
Images shared on the Samreboi-based side’s Facebook Page reveals a bromance between the Black Starlets Goalkeeper and former Karela United and Asante Kotoko midfielder, Emmanuel Kayeke as both players are draped in the betPawa Premier League sides apparels.
Shaibu Rafique Issah, 16, shot into prominence following his debut in the MTN FA Cup two seasons ago where he became the youngest player to have feature in the competition at age 14.

He was later drafted in Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin’s Black Starlets team where he kept in all of Ghana’s games ahead of their bronze winning feat at the West Africa Football Union Zone B U-17 tournament.
Shaibu spent the 2022/2023 Football season away from Sekondi Hasaacas Football Club; featured for both Nania FC and Montreal FC.

The picture posted on the FC Samartex 1996’s Facebook Page suggests a deal is likely to be in place for the young shot stopper who is currently schooling at Adiembra Senior High School.
Shaibu Rafique Issah has earned enough plaudits in the Sekondi-Takoradi Zone Senior High School competition where he has helped Adiembra Senior High School to winning the trophy in both editions he’s played in.
