After barely three years with Simgwado Broadcasting Company Limited -the operators of Radio Silver 92.3FM in Sekondi, Kyfilla.com can exclusively confirm that, Nana Ama Adiepena has finally resigned as an employee of the aforesaid media hub.
Nana Ama Adiepena was the midmorning show host for the 92.3 megahertz and later became the host of the station’s socio-political show christened ‘PAE MU KA’.
According to reliable source, the former Adehyie FM (Bibiani) administrator tendered in her resignation letter a week before the shut down of the station by the National Communications Authority.
Nana Ama as called by colleagues, per Kyfilla.com findings, has resigned after fourteen years in radio to pursue a degree in Communication after attaining a Diploma in business administration and bookkeeping in accounting.
She previously worked at Rainbow Radio in Juabeso before joining Adehyie FM in Bibiani as the radio administrator and music presenter for four years.
The astute female broadcaster has also taught as a teacher in Saudi Arabia for three years. She returned to work with De-Beat FM in Asawinso as a news anchor for three months before switching camp to Asempah FM in Asante Akyim Agogo as an administrator, morning show host and a reggae presenter for twelve solid months.
At Radio Silver, Nana Ama Adiepena started with the newspaper review on Anopa Nkomo, became the midmorning show host and later became the acting accountant. She was then appointed as the programs manager after two years stints.
