A Police Station and residential quarters built by the Member of Parliament (MP) for Fanteakwa South, Hon. Kofi Okyere Agyekum was commissioned and handed over to the Police Administration on the 10th September, 2020.
Commissioner of police (COP) Mr. Samuel Monney, Director- General Technical who represented the Inspector-General of police Mr. James Oppong-Boanuh, thanked the MP for Fanteakwa South Hon. Kofi Okyere Agyekum and the Government for the facility. He also used the occasion to sound a word of caution to any group of persons intending to foment trouble before, during and after the 2020 elections to desist from such plans.

COP Mr. Monney warned those who normally launch reckless attacks on police stations and police personnel not to dare since the police Administration will not tolerate such unwarranted behaviours.
The Eastern Regional Police Commander, DCOP Mr. Edward Johnson Akrofi-Oyirifi in his welcome address said the Regional command under his leadership has put in place a number of security measures to curb the menace and again urged all officers posted to the station to keep the edifice clean and well maintained at all times.

The Eastern Regional minister, Hon. Eric Kwakye Daafour, also urged the police to put the facility into good use to combat crime.
The Regent of Bosuso, Nana Krofa Atta, underscored the importance of the facility and thanked the MP for the intervention and promised their support for the personnel posted to work with
