Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku was sent off in Leicester City’s away game against Coventry City.
Issahaku started the game and played in his usual position ( right wing) when Leicester lost to Coventry City 3-1.
After a Drewsbury Hall penalty on the 44th minute, Leicester lost control of the game as Fatawu Issahaku was shown a straight red card in added on time of the first half for a bad tackle. leaving Leicester with no choice but to play the remainder of the game with with 10 men.
Coventry City too advantage of the situation and scored 3 goals in the second half in the 79th, 88th and added on time of the game respectively.
Fatawu Issahaku’s red card means he will miss two league games and an FA Cup match. He will return in the second week of February.
Leicester City remain on top of the English Championship table with 65 points. With 10 points difference between second placed Ipswich Town.
