Kumasi Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Felix Annan has been nominated for the 2019 edition of the Ghana Football Awards topmost award.
The first-choice shot-stopper for the Porcupine Warriors was nominated for his outstanding performance during the team’s CAF Confederation Cup campaign, capping all matches at the expense of Muntari Tagoe who had lots of experience in the aforementioned competition with Medeama Sporting Club.
Annan will battle with Atletico Madrid combative midfielder, Thomas Partey alongside Northern Ladies and FIFA U-17 Female World Cup topscorer Mukarama Abdulai for the Footballer of the Year award.
The awards has been scheduled to come off in July, 2019 with Thomas Partey as the holder of last year’s Footballer of the Year award.
