Felix Kyei, the talismanic goalkeeper for Medeama Sporting Club and the reigning Ghana Premier League champion, leads the 2023–24 CAF Champions League’s “Goalkeepers With Most Saves” list.
Throughout Medeama’s CAF Champions League campaign, the gifted Ghanaian goalkeeper showed excellent reflexes and focus, making 24 saves.
Eight other goalkeepers from different clubs were listed after Kyei at the top of the log table. Medeama’s shot-stopper is still creating history even though they are no longer in the competition.
However, Dreams FC, Ghana’s lone representative in the CAF competition this year, defeated the Malian team to continue their perfect run. On Sunday, they will host their Malian counterpart at Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
