Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko defender Joseph Hendricks has commend ace Ghanaian undercover investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas for uncovering the corrupt practices in the Ghanaian football.
According to the veteran footballer, Ghanaians were aware of the corrupt practices inundating the Ghana Football Association but needs someone to uncover those ill practices of which Tiger Eye PI have done and will commend them for taking such bold steps.
Speaking to Kwame Yeboah, host of Sekondi based Radio Silver Sports dubbed ”Kick Off”, the former Ashantigold centre-back said he had the opportunity to watch the premiere of the expose’ on last Saturday in Kumasi and he was engulfed with pettiness for those investing their monies into the Ghanaian football.
“We should thank Anas for giving us the evidence, most of us were aware of the corrupt practices in our football but had no evidence”, he said.
“I was sad for those pumping their money into our football after watching the video in Kumasi but its good that finally they have been uncovered”,he added.
Asked whether the government decision of dissolving the Ghana Football Association is a good step, he commented that “I fully support the government for such a decision at least to clean our football”, he concluded.
