Paul Agbedor, owner of the ford caravan has injured 8 people and killed Selena Twum Ampofo, a 39 year old mother of 3.
Mr Agbedor lost control of the steering wheel and ended up in the late Selena Twum Ampofo’s chop bar where she sells food.
This unfortunate incident took place at Airport Mobile Police Barracks now known as National Guard Unit. The police reported that the victims incurred a lot of injuries, and are now at the 37 Military Hospital under going treatment .
As reported by an eye witness the driver knocked down a pedestrian before and his decision to flee from the accident scene proved futile as he caused injuries and damages to people and their properties.

Superintendent of Police, Augustine Akrofi stated that, the police quickly sent out an investigator to the scene as soon as they received a report from the scene.
As soon as the Investigator arrived at he scene, he noticed the Ford Caravan in the chop bar which was operated by the deceased.
Agbedor stated that, in order to prevent his ford caravan from running into other people, he steered off into the Central reservation while he was still heading towards 37 Military Hospital.
According to DSP Akrofi, the driver said that as he was driving from nearby Opeibea intersection towards 37, he noticed his engine was revving higher than its supposed to.
