Former Asante Kotoko Sporting Club star Michael Akuffo “Gaddafi” responds to Wilberforce Mfum’s comments regarding the performance of the players.
Wilberforce Mfum demanded that coach Prosper Narteh Ogum be fired immediately in response to the team’s lackluster performance in the current season.
To help the Porcupine Warriors focus and play better football, he also demands that the Kotoko players be physically beaten.
Former player Michael Akuffo took issue with the club’s legend’s remarks because he believed that players should improve their skills rather than focus on beating them since Kotoko is not just a football club but a religion.
“I don’t support beating the players but the players should rather up their game because Kotoko is not just a club but a religion.
In addition, Michael Akuffo repeated what Otumfuo had said when he initially joined the team—that if a player plays Kotoko with all of his heart, the team will also bless the player.
