Four institutions have made sperate donations worth over One million, three hundred and sixty thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢1,360,00) to the Covid-19 National Trust Fund.
The Covid-19 Fund was established by President Akufo-Addo help the vulnerable infected by Coronavirus and also the frontline health officers who are combating the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in Ghana.

WILMAR Africa, producer of Frytol, CCT Group, Agriculture Development Bank (ADB) and the Metropolitan and Municipal District Chief Executives in the Eastern Region were the four institutions to made the donations today, April 7, 2020.
The CCT Group donated materials and cash totaling six hundred thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢600,000) while WILMAR Africa donated assorted products and cash of one million Ghana Cedis (GH¢1000000).
Also, the Agriculture Development Bank (ADB) made a cash donation of two hundred thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢200,000) to the Fund while the Metropolitan and Municipal District Chief Executives from the Eastern region donated hundred thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢100,000).
The senior Minister Yaw Osafo-Marfo received the donations on behalf of the government.

The Health Minister Kwaku Agyeman-Manu assured Heath workers that government will factor their concerns into the definition of frontline health workers.
Meanwhile President Akufo-Addo in his fifth address to nation revealed that the Covid-19 National Trust Fund has accrued GH¢8,750,000.00
