Black Meteors Management Committee Member, Fredrick Acheampong(Achee) has waged into comments by Emmanuel Agyemang Badu on foreign players called-up into the various youth national teams over local players.
The former Black Stars player, Emmanuel Agyeman Badu who wasn’t impressed with Ghana’s Olympic team’s performance in Morroco adviced authorities to focus more on local players when it comes to youth level tournament.
The narrative from the former Udinese man didn’t go well with the Executive Council member and the former Chief Executive Officer of Ashantigold Sporting Club who used Agyemang Badu’s case as a way to avert criticism: “Agyeman Badu was still receiving national team call ups when He left the local scene to play abroad, He wasn’t denied that opportunity in favor of local players” – He told Nhyira Fm sports.
