Freddy Blay, National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) together with his entourage made a tour to some Voters Registration Centres in Sekondi-Takoradi.
The tour commenced before the start of the Electoral Commission’s Registration Exercise.
Following the exercise some centres visited were Services 1, All Saints Anglican Church A & B registration centres in all in Takoradi Constituency.
At all the registration centers visited, Chairman Blay alongside his entourage observed the necessary protocols, had interactions with registration officials, polling agents and encouraged registrants to partake in the exercise.
The centres he visited were all peaceful, and there were no challenges and the registrants were all observing the necessary protocols.
Honorable Freddy Blay proceeded to Sekondi Constituency to monitor the ongoing registration where he visited centres like Methodist School A & B, Methodist Park where he witnessed some small tension and dealt with it.
In Essikado-Ketan Constituency, the Honorable MP Hon Joe Ghartey joined the team led by Hon Freddy to Assawa registration centers A & B and Mallam town.
The team were at Effia Constituency to monitor California registration centre.
Our reporter surmised that the following Member of Parliaments, Ministers joined the monitoring exercise; Minister for Railway Development and MP for Essikado-Ketan Hon Joe Ghartey, Western Regional Organizer Mr Abdul Ganiyu Mohammed, Takoradi Constituency First Vice Chairman Mr Justice Acquah, the party’s Parliamentary candidate for Akrofuom Mr Alex Blankson, NPP Western Regional Women’s Organizer Hon Abena Kwallah, Deputy Regional Youth Mr Samuel Kakapiaka Afrifa.
Also, the executive director of GNPC Foundation, Dr. Dominic Eduah was among the entourage.
