News speculating in the media reveals that renowned Sports Broadcaster Frederick Acheampong as been handed the Ashgold Chief Executive Officer role.
According news trending in the media landscape, Dr. Kweku Frimpong known in footballing fraternity as ‘Champion’ revealed the news whiles being interviewed on Kumasi based Nhyira FM.
But speaking to Oti Asirifi Mensah of Skyy Power 93.5 FM in Takoradi, the famous broadcaster disclosed nobody has told him anything like such and should been treated as mere rumors.
‘I have a good relationship with Dr. Kwaku Frimpong but to be honest I have no idea of where the news is coming from, speculating that am the new CEO of Ashgold, nothing has been discussed officially’, He revealed.
Meanwhile, Ashgold are having a good run in the Ghana Premier League, placing first with ten points after four matches played in the first round.
