The Ghana senior national women’s team, Black Queens on Thursday afternoons thrashed Blessed Ladies 17:0 in a preparatory match.
The friendly is a preparatory for coach Mercy Tagoe Quarcoe’s side ahead of the upcoming WAFU tournament in Ivory Coast.
FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup goal queen, Mukarama Abdulai scored four goals in the friendly with Alice Kusi, Grace Asantewaa, Mavis Owusu, Gladys Amfobeah, Jane Ayieyam, Ellen Coleman and Elizabeth Owusu getting two goals each.The tally was increased to seventeen from an own goal.
Meanwhile, the Black Queens will keep on preparing for the upcoming tournament with the squad to be prune down to 21. The tournament is slated for May this year in Ivory Coast.
