Ghanaian comedian Funny Face was spotted taking a sea bath, which is regarded as a “traditional Ghanaian” rite to ward off bad luck and offer thankfulness to God after receiving bail of Ghc 120.000 from the Kasoa-Akweley District Court.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, funny face was seen praying and bathing in the sea waves.
Funny Face apologized profusely, asked Ghanaians for forgiveness, and accepted full responsibility for the circumstances leading up to his arrest. He also emphasized that, in contrast to some media stories, he was not intoxicated when the accident occurred.
Funny Face was bailed on Tuesday April 9 after being remanded for two weeks in Police custody. He was arrested after his vehicle run into about 5 people on the Kasoa highway with the victims being severely injured.
