George Afriyie, a candidate for the Presidency of the Ghana Football Association, has refuted reports that he has chosen members of his campaign team.
Recently, the former GFA Vice President said that he would run for the position in the upcoming elections, which are anticipated to take place in October of this year.
According to earlier media reports, George Afriyie has named the members of his campaign staff.

However, Emmanuel Akyereko, the campaign’s acting spokesperson,has quickly refuted the claims and urged the public to treat them with the necessary disdain they require.
“The attention of Mr. Afriyie has been drawn to a series of reports claiming that the astute 2023 GA Presidential aspirant has named his campaign team for the upcoming elections.
“Mr. Afriyie wants to place on record that the reports are largely untrue and should be disregarded.”
