Veteran football administrator, Lawyer Ntow Fianko has labeled George Kwesi Afriyie’s bid to contest for the October 2023’s Ghana Football Association presidency seat as in right order.
George Afriyie declared his interest in contesting for the yet to be declared vacant GFA President seat on Sunday, June 25 in a lengthy speech of 20 minutes.
In the declaration speech, George Afriyie reminded the football fraternity of his immense wealth of experience having served under Juvenile Committee, Black Stars Management Committee and the Vice President of the GFA.

He declared himself as a unifier who comes in to disinfect the football ecosystem from Nepotism Vindictiveness and cronyism.

In review of George Afriyie’s bid and intention to contest for the position, Ntow Fianko Esq has called it “in the right order”.
“I think it is in the right order for George Afriyie to announce his candidacy for the GFA presidency”.
Ntow Fianko Esq went further to describe Kurt Okraku’s administration as not worth going unopposed and added calls for three terms is nonsensical.
“People should tell me what Kurt Okraku has done to warrant him go unopposed.
It is nonsensical for anyone to propose a three term”to – Ntow Fianko Esq told Oyerepa FM.
