Former Ghana and Coventry City assistant coach, George Boateng, has expressed his readiness to take on a head coaching role in Ghana, citing his extensive experience gained over the years.
The 49 – year – old has held several coaching positions since retiring from playing football.
In 2014, Boateng was appointed head coach of Kelantan before transitioning to the role of technical director, a position he held until leaving the club in May 2015.
Three years later, Boateng became head coach of Blackburn Rovers, before taking up the role of U – 20 head coach at Aston Villa in 2019.
Boateng recently stepped down as an assistant coach at Coventry City in the English Championship.
