Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper George Owu has named his best eleven in his two years stay at the club.
Owu played for Asante Kotoko from 2002-2004 before joining fellow Premier League side Ashgold Sporting Club in 2005.

He was an integral member of the Kotoko squad that lost the 2004 CAF Confederation Cup to bitterest rivals Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
He was spectacular for the Black Stars of Ghana during the 2006 World Cup qualifiers and was part of Ghana squad that participated in the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany.

Owu went on trials at English Premier League side Tottenham Hospurs but latter returned to Ghana and signed for Ebusua Dwarfs then to parent club Sekondi Hasaacas.
George Owu who was rated as the best goalkeeper in the Egypt Premier League during his time with El-Masry, has stipulated his best eleven players that he played with during his days with Asante Kotoko.
As expected, George Owu chose himself in the sticks following his spectacular form for the club.
At the right back was Michael Ofosu Appiah who was part of the 2004 CAF Confederation Cup squad while Godfred Yeboah has the left back.

Owu chose former captain Joe Hendricks and Issah Ahmed as the centre-backs.
In a 4-4-2 formation, George Owu named Yusif Chibsah who is currently into player management and Daniel Yeboah as the holding midfielders with Micheal Osei (Emba Power) and Charles Taylor as the wingers.

In the attack is Nana Arhin Duah’s partnership with Shilla Alhassan who later became the Team Manager of Asante Kotoko.
