The Ghana Education Service has ordered Ms. Felicia Asamoah Dankwaa to step aside following the death of a student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Senior High School.
Several reports reveal the unnamed student was left unattended to by the school’s authorities and in the process gave up the ghost.
Students of the school have already taken to the streets to demonstrate their displeasure following the neglect of their colleague leading to the death of the student.

Other report claims the authorities feared the student was covid-19 positive.
The students had destroyed a salon car which per reports belongs to the headmistress before the police’s arrival.
Following the July 7 demonstration, ghanaweb again reported that some of the students are back to the street to demonstrate which has led to the GES action for the headmistress, Ms. Felicia Asamoah Dankwaa to step aside.
Ms. Felicia Asamoah Dankwaa’s position will now be held by the Ashanti Regional Director of Education, Safo Kantanka.

We are in the known that some parents had stormed the school premises to demand the release of their wards.
The police are said to have brought the situation under control whiles the Municipal Directorate of Education is also said to be engaging the students to calm nerves.
