Professor Joseph Kwame Mintah has been named the new Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), succeeding Bernhard Lippert, who resigned from the position after serving in it for four years.
Professor Mintah, who was formerly the Head of Coaching Education at the FA’s Technical Directorate, brings a wealth of knowledge and proficiency in football development to the role.
He has shown during his time there a great commitment to developing talent at all levels of the sport, from amateur to professional.
The FA’s coaching programs have significantly improved under his direction, giving coaches the knowledge and abilities they need to develop players and foster tactical innovation.
Professor Mintah has also worked as the Black Stars’ psychologist, which has given him extensive knowledge of the intricacies of professional football.
The GFA’s choice to name Professor Mintah as Technical Director is indicative of its dedication to developing a strong football culture and growing the game in Ghana.
