Speaking to kyfilla.com , the affable football administrator said;
“let take this opportunity to talk about this issue, the decision by the GFA to pay extra cash to GFA Clubs who will field some U-17 players in the upcoming season, I think it is something that will help the course of Ghana football in terms of getting talent for our Junior National teams.
“ To me this is the best ever policy by the GFA because it will help to solve the problems of our Junior National teams.
“Why am I saying that because the likes of Asamoah Gyan, Sulley Muntari, Michael Essien, Derek Boateng, Godwin Attram and Laryea Kingston, go and check their background, they all played the colts league and were promoted straight to the Premier League.
“Currently we also have some of this talents in the Junior team who are special, we should allow them to play in some of the league matches , if we allow them to play, that is where they will get the big match temperament and confidence .
“So if at age 16 and 17 years and he is playing in the top flight when you invite to the national team, the results will be there for all to see..
Samuel Anim Addo is noted for nurturing and identifying young talents with the likes of Mattew Anim Cudjoe of Scottish side Dundee United and Black Meteors Striker Emmanuel Yeboah of CFR Cluj all coming through his hands..
