The official mascot of the Women’s Football Strategy has been unveiled by the Ghana Football Association (GFA). The mascot was dubbed “Asantewaa the Fearless,” which represents inclusiveness and product diversity.
Launched in July of this year, the Women’s Football Strategy aims to provide practical programs and interventions to support the growth of women’s football in preparation for the upcoming football cycle.
The Women’s Football Strategy, which will run from 2023 to 2026 under the theme “EMPOWER HER GAME,” will place a strong emphasis on grassroots development and the promotion of women’s football.
Enhancing and creating a brand strategy for women’s football is the goal of the strategy, which is being led by Ama Brobbey Williams, the Association’s Head of Women’s Football Development.
