A statement from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has adopted a minute of silence to honor the late Ga Many3, Naa Dedei Omaedru III, during matches.
The minutes of silence will be observed for the following leagues: BetPawa Premier League, Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League, and MTN FA Cup matches this weekend.
The late Queen Mother of Ga passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022, at the age of 88. The GFA Traditional Council has announced that the funeral and burial of the Paramount Queen Mother of the Ga State will take place on Saturday, October 28, 2023.
Businesses will also be closed on Saturday, October 28, as directed by the Ga Traditional Council. All prescribed protocols should be observed by the general public during the funeral of the late queen.
