The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has said Ghana doesn’t need a speaker of Parliament who always needs to be carried from his car to the chamber.
According to Asiedu Nketia, Ghana needs a speaker of Parliament who is healthy to do the job assigned to him.[ads2]
“We don’t need a speaker who you’ve to carry from his car to the chamber. Let’s be serious. We don’t need a speaker who always needs an ambulance”, he told JoyNews.
Mr. Asiedu Nketiah believes the former member of Parliament for Nadowli Kaleo Constituency in the Upper West Region, Alban Bagbin deserves to be the next speaker for parliament and not NPP’s Professor Mike Aaron Oquaye..[ads3]
He explained that Alban Bagbin has the requisite knowledge to lead the 8th Parliament as their leader.
