Potential Black Stars midfielder, James Agyekum Kotei has denied speculations making rounds on various web portals that he will end his marriage with Simba Sporting Club.
An earlier report carried out in the media, suggested that, the former Liberty Professionals midfielder has revealed plans of ending his stay with the Msimbadzi Reds when his two years contract runs out in August this year.
Speaking exclusively to Kyfilla.com, the combative enforcer denied the earlier speculations, indicating that he has no plans of leaving the Dar es Salaam based club even though his contract is about to run out in August this year.
Kotei divulged during the exclusive interview that, he has started negotiations with the management of the Tanzania Premier League champions for a contract extension
He however urged the supporters of the Benjamin Mkapa lads to remain calm and keep supporting the club as they prepare for the 2019/20 CAF Champions League season.
James Kotei was voted the best Simba SC midfielder in the 2019 MO Simba Awards after helping the team to defend the Tanzania Premier League title and also reaching the quarterfinals of the CAF Champions League for the very first time in the club’s history.
