The Chief Executive Officer of Ghana National Gas, Dr Benjamin K.D Asante has been adjudged the best CEO at the just ended Ghana Oil and Gas Awards held in Accra.[ads2]
The ninth edition of the prestigious awards saw the astute engineer recognized for his exceptional leadership, innovations and numerous accomplishments in putting the company on the map in the oil and gas industry.
Ghana Gas also received the Oil and Gas Service Company of the Year (Gas) as well as the Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility awards (Upstream) during the awards night.[ads3]
The Ghana Oil and Gas Awards recognize achievements from local and international companies involved in Ghana’s oil and gas sector.
The awards organized by Xodus Communications Limited in partnership with the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum and Graphic News Plus is also a platform for the Oil and Gas industry to demonstrate and celebrate the advances made in key areas such as stewardship, efficiency, innovation, leadership, corporate social responsibility, health and safety.[ads4]
This year’s event was fun-filled with lots of exceptional performances from Comedian Hogan, God’s Gift Brass Band and many others.
