“I have been in Ghana Rugby for many years, but in this last year and half that I have somebody, I called a captain.
” In Kotoko I had Godwin Ablordey, he was a captain. It is not who are the best players but they are leaders, they bring people together, they work on the programs of the players, they understand what the coach, the TM wants and the understand the financial difficulties of the Board Chairman and the Board, the Directors and the investments have. Selom Gavor is extraordinary character and I say that, we are lucky to have such a character as we go.[ads4]
“Look at the later part of the game against Burkina Faso who had four or five players directing flying from France to play this game in a tough, tough match. Look at Jalulu trying to save tackles, look at the superb skills of Kofi Appiah, what a captain!!.

“Meanwhile we always have problems in Ghana Rugby, somebody is captaining two years ago he thinks he should be captaining today, somebody played ten years ago, he thinks he should been playing today, you know that is absolutely nonsense. It is who is on form, who is right, who is part of a team, who can play a role and that is what we have done” he expressed.
