Ghana Swimming Association President Theophilus Edzie, has been suspended for illegally including Sixteen (16) names to Team Swimming list for the Australian Commonwealth Games.
According to a release from the Association, an Executive Board meeting was held on Thursday, 19th April,2018 at the Media Center of the Accra Sports Stadium, where the President was invited to provide information regarding the Commonwealth visa scandal.
Sixteen (16) names was added to the list of Ten (10) names presented by the Association, totaling 26 for the Commonwealth Games in Australia. Below is the release from the Association confirming the suspension of the President.
