Ghanaians are about to witness a fascinating deaf volleyball competition as Ghana is bound to host the first ever Africa Deaf Volleyball Championship in July this year.
The competition which is an event to give more prominence to the activities of the Ghana Deaf Sports Federation (GDSF) was made known during a visit by the Executive Members of the Federation to the deputy Youth and Sports Minister, Hon. Perry Curtis Okwudzato.
The Executives of the Federation led by its Vice President; Mr. Kingsley Kweku Nkansah paid a courtesy call on the deputy sector minister on Friday, 26th April, 2019 at his office in Accra.
Speaking to the Deputy Minister, Mr. Kingsley Kweku Nkansah highlighted on the various activities embarked by the Federation during this year.
He however cried to the deputy sector minister to support the Federation as Ghana looks forward to host the maiden edition of the Africa Deaf Volleyball Championship in July this year.
He added that, the Federation will also embark on an exchange program with their counterparts in France to exchange ideas and skills.
Hon. Perry Okwudzato also urged the Executive Members of the Federation to be diligent in their discharge of duties and divulges the readiness of his outfit to support the upcoming continental competition which will be hosted by Ghana.
Available at the meeting was the Chief Director of the Ministry, Mr. Frank Quist, Vice President of the Federation, Mr. Kingsley Kweku Nkansah among other notable executives of the Federation.
