Ghana will be partaking in fourteen disciplines during the 2019 African Games which will be hosted in the capital city of Morocco, Rabat.
The Competition scheduled for August 17-29, 2019 will see Ghana airlifting about ninety-five athletes to Morocco to represent the country in fourteen disciplines.
This was disclosed during Ghana’s International Games and Competitions Committee visit to the Sports Minister, Honorable Isaac Kwame Asiamah at his office in Accra.
The Committee led by its Chairman, Professor Peter Twumasi presented to the Sports Minister, the final list of sporting disciplines and athletes participating in the African Games.
The Sports Minister was impressed with the painstaking efforts from the Committee in selecting medal hopefuls to compete for Ghana in different disciplines.
