Ghana is required by the Confederation of African Football to submit their final Africa Cup of Nations team by January 3, 2024.
The AFCON which is Africa’s most prestigious international football competition, is scheduled to take place in Ivory Coast from January 13 to February 11, 2024.
The final squad is anticipated to be revealed ten days prior to the tournament’s commencement. Coach Chris Hughton has been working with his technical staff to choose the best players for the competition.
All 24 teams taking part in the competition, according to CAF, are required to submit their final squads by January 3. After that, the teams will have until their opening games to make any last-minute roster changes.
The Black Stars, Egypt, Cape Verde, and Mozambique have all been placed into Group B. On January 13, they will begin their campaign against Egypt.
Ghana has won the African Cup Of Nations four times, winning last in 1982.
