Young Africans attacker, Bernard Morrison has launched his foundation to help the vulnerable in the society.
The foundation known as the Bernard Morrison Foundation was officially launched at a colourful ceremony at the Takoradi Mall on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.
Speaking at the ceremony, Bernard Morrison who played for Simba Sports Club before switching camp to Young Africans in Tanzania made it known that his foundation is focused on giving hope to the less privileged and the needy in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis and the Western region at large.
The former AshantiGold Sporting Club talisman stated emphatically that his foundation his committed to the education, health and solidarity of the youth in the region.
The Chief of Apremdo, a suburb in Takoradi, Nana Egya Kwamina XI who chaired the ceremony with astute broadcast journalists including George Kuntu Blankson of Skyy Media Group, Benjamin Quansah and Stephen Kwame Yeboah of Connect FM, Kyei Yaw Baffour of Spice FM , Amy Fynn Thompson of Rok FM and host of others in attendance, showered praises on Bernard Morrison for the initiative and urged the former Hearts of Lions striker to continue serving the people of Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis just as he has been doing since 2016.
Former Asante Kotoko defender and captain, Joseph Hendricks who was a guest at the ceremony entreated Bernard Morrison and his management to ensure that the foundation achieve its purpose and objective.
The launching ceremony also witnessed musical performance from former Ruff Town Records signee Snow B and host of others.
