Ghanaian midfielder lsaac Coffie has joined Spanish Segunda Division side Sporting Gijon ahead of the new season.
The 26-year signed a two-year deal after spending close to six years at Seria A side Genoa .
An official statement from the club confirming the signing of Coffie reads :
” Midfielder lsaac Cofie(Accra ,September 20,1991)has become the last reinforcement to arrive at Sporting for the next season.
” He measures 1.84 meters, weighs 75 kilos and comes from Genoa in ltaly,the country where he has developed most of his professional sports career. ”
The former Ghana U.20 star has featured for several clubs in ltaly in the last six years of his career which includes Torino, Piacenza, Sassuolo,Chievo Verona and Carpi.
